The Great Spirit

Does the body offer us

an entry into our soul?

Perhaps the brain does allow

introspection of the tao.

The body finally dies

even if the mind is wise.

Spirits suffer no such fate

and are eternally great.

Spirits are only a part

of a larger cosmic heart.

Our souls can appreciate

this chance to participate

in some great divinity

who is also part of me.
