Now and Then it Rains
Eternity is this moment
in evolutionary throes.
Now is just part of the present.
It is static and yet it flows.
Even protean tomorrows
are really the product of change.
and the present moment borrows
from a past which is always strange.
Across the event horizon
creation is never allowed.
We must always keep our eyes on
the real potential of a cloud.
If tomorrows cloud gives us rain
we say, “Now it’s raining again.”
