understood all their gods
as symbols of spirits

did they understand
the differences
between body and soul

are our spirits only myths
or are they dominant parts
of every creature

if we have never met
our spiritual symbols
we remain as strangers

hello gods, welcome home
we belong together
before our body leaves

eternity is home
to a balanced life
