A Season for Love

The world awaits that simple word,

the one which ev’ryone has heard.

Love is the sign of good intent,

a symbol for what Jesus meant.

I love my lover who is gone

and these old people who live on.

The good intention that i feel

is love and that is a big deal.

Jesus talked a lot about this.

My lover sealed it with a kiss.

But, can i love my enemy

and can he be in love with me?

If we will put it to the test

that kind of love may be the best.
