Sandy Claws

Soon after Christmas the bills come

and guess where they are coming from:

The sandy claws of a greedy cat

and that’s why Santa is so fat.

And now you become conscious of

“Christmas day should be about love.”

Let’s think about a different day

when the capitalists hold sway.

For what was a Christmas parade

is commercial i am afraid.

Now we give military toys

to instruct little girls and boys

to prepare for profit and war.

Is that what Christmas is now for?
