Merry Christmas

I like to exercise my mind

with philosophy of some kind.

But, sometimes i must realize

words i use are not always wise.

My meaning is often unclear

and hard to understand i fear.

I am not understood because

i do not worship Santa Klaus.

Love should not be mercenary.

Profit is not necessary.

Christmas shouldn’t be about sales

or ridiculous fairy tales.

I hear Jesus talking to me

about spirituality.
