An Imaginary Alice
Perhaps intangible things are
like our conception of a star;
objects far away and too hot
which we don’t think about a lot.
But, poets and philosophers
live lives full of awes and wonders.
We cannot touch but we can feel
what imagination makes real.
So twinkle up there in the sky
while imagination and i
conspire to have a lot of fun
and astonish everyone.
Somewhere deep in a rabbit hole
poets can play a stellar role.
