Concepts of Eternity

The coexistence of now

with both past and future

describes ultimate eternity.

I can easily grasp this

but others seem to see

a beginning and an end.

Thus, for me, creation

is an unreliable myth

which distorts the cosmos.

Most people see moving time

as a necessity for existence

which colors their faith.

To them, the big bang

is as plausible as

a divine creator.

To me, both are implausible

but eternity seems like truth

requiring no rituals.

Eternity has time for change

making evolution possible

in a stable universe.

How did i escape

this block to cosmic vision

which others accept by faith;

and who is naive

and who blinded by faith?

Only gods are indifferent.
