Christmas Story

Once the prince of peace was able

to begin life in a stable,

and then when his body had died

he had been meanly crucified.

Someone is being born today

we might eventually slay.

Yet his spirit will always live

with capacity to forgive.

In a barn or under a bridge

being born is a privilege.

All of us should be conscious of

the power of brotherly love,

and pray that our brothers will

forgive us if we ever kill.
