cosmic consciousness

i don’t say this with

pride but gratitude

and with appreciation

i have dipped into

and perhaps colored

the thoughts of sages

no, definitely not theft

but a compliment

if memory is embellished

it is not diminished

as it becomes fiction

truth is amplified

by appreciation

for which i am grateful

the akashic field

is largely imagination

where i constantly graze
