Whims of Gods Are Intended

It is not only by chance

that anyone learns to dance.

All skills come after practice

and that is what the fact is.

But sometimes the human race

may know it is saved by grace.

Grace means by loving intent.

That is what the gods have meant.

Whether we have one god or more,

that is what gods are for.

to make us all realize

that only our body dies.

Conscious souls live forever.

These gods are very clever.
