We Take Too Much Credit

Good Morning! My first name is Walt.

The warming trend is not my fault.

My friend, Gilbert says it ain’t so.

An eighth grade student oughta know.

I’ll keep cool, don’t you never fear.

I keep wearing short pants all year.

All them scientists ain’t so smart.

They put the mule behind the cart.

Earth has been here forever

and endured all kinds of weather.

Someone is letting the sun in.

That something is bigger than men.

Most of us men no longer smoke,

If it gets too hot we’ll all croak.
