Glue that holds the world together

may not be sticky forever

but the cosmos won’t fly apart;

the big bang is only a fart.

The glue is like philosophy

which isn’t good enough for me.

Only intangible, but true,

and it does what equations do.

We know matter and energy

are both parts of a living tree

whose glue is a liquid sap

but this is all a bunch of crap.

The only thing we really know

is that the bible says it’s so.
