Plain Talk for Plain People
When i compare aphorisms
to poetry or to essay
i can make no criticisms
of what the authors have to say.
All of them feel that they have to
express intangible feeling
and they do what they have to do
to make their ideas appealing.
In telling their stories with grace
it’s like the whipped cream on the pie.
But the readers they have to face
are plain people like you and i;
who find it hard to understand
their vocabularies so grand.
