Poet or Translator

Perhaps a found poem requires

our syntax before it inspires.

In other words, a translation

of spiritual information.

The job of the poet therefore

means that he is translating more

from the voices which he has heard;

not originating the word.

Syntax gives the poet choices

in interpreting these voices

so the reader can understand

what spiritual voices have planned.

If the message remains obscure

how can it be literature?
