My mutable philosophy

emerges from an inner source.

There are forces outside of me

which may influence me of course.

But, i am basically myself,

evolving daily as i live.

I recognize an inner elf

not having past sins to forgive.

If my mode of thinking seems queer

to an establishment i scorn

i am happy to be living here

where all of us can be reborn.

Mutability is the clue

to crazy things we say and do.
