Lost Memories

Time always seems to be passing

and yet, all that exists is now.

The cosmos is everlasting

but who notes the death of a cow?

Do animals have spirits too

which live forever like we do?

How can we be so arrogant

if cows are insignificant?

Many questions – answers are few;

this situation isn’t new.

One must wonder if a cow

is reborn as human somehow.

But, since only our bodies die,

what kind of animal was i?
