Why I Love Gods

My beneficent life has been

so good it has to be a sin.

Is there an intelligent mind;

well-intentioned gods of some kind?

Well, of course there have to be

some reasons for eternity.

Are there rewards and punishments;

is that what a god represents?

I think gods are a symbol of

less than justice, but more like love

when unworthy sinners like me

continue to live happily.

I am not advocating sin,

is say with a sardonic grin.
