Who Is Dense?
I don’t worship obscurity
any more than simplicity.
And yet, some poets are so plain
i don’t read their poems again.
I seldom read John Ashberry;
his poems seem ordinary.
Altho this poet is acclaimed;
the eminent poet he is named.
However, Dean Young seems to be
very interesting to me.
The fault is mine, and i know it,
when i find an obscure poet.
Some of these poems may demand
i know things i don’t understand.
