Poets or Rhymesters
If i could write like Dean Young
with his popular pile of dung,
then, i might forego making rhymes
and even get published sometimes.
But rhyming comes naturally;
there isn’t any hope for me.
But, he is another one
who thinks writing poems is fun.
He’ll never see a poem of mine
and that’s gonna suit me just fine.
Because, if he did, he would scoff
or else turn the radio off.
Thank god, my readers are like me;
can’t understand real poetry.
