Intangible Realities
Are these really states of mind;
or just emotions of some kind?
Well, spirits are what they are,
indefinable so far.
I’m not talking about ghosts here
but a sort of an atmosphere.
We might call them intangible,
not a physical animal.
Let’s call them love, hope, and ideals,
the kinds of things a person feels.
Not things which we hear, see, or touch,
but we believe them very much.
We may be spiritual, or not,
but it’s spirits which we have got.
