In My Prayers
Tho i am not a super man
I will be as good as i can.
My grossest sins have been confessed
and i can live with all the rest.
At my first opportunity
i will dispose of dignity.
I will not live with a false pride
and sophistry will be denied.
These are all things which i will do
which i am resolving anew,
but every morning i find
i am falling farther behind.
That should be easy to cure
with plenty of bull manure.
