If it Quacks Like a Duck
Good fortune comes to those few
who have prepared themselves for it.
The recipient has to do
more work than those who ignore it.
But, some people who prepared
nevertheless, have also failed.
These are the people who dared
arrive after their ship has sailed.
When someone missing the boat
calls his misfortune bad luck,
being unable to float
may indicate he’s not a duck.
Everyone may not be
always as fortunate as me.
