Who is it who talks to birds
and to the wild buffalo herds?

i had asked my calico cat.
“No, but that is what you’re apt to do”
he said, and i believed him too.
I think improbable things
like believing that thoughts have wings.
So i note them down right away
for if they can fly, then they may.
That is why you are reading this.
No matter how stupid it is.
It may not seem too well thought out.
