My Hidden (S)elf
Can i indulge myself
to search my mind?
There is a hidden elf
i will not find.
Even if out of sight
i know he’s there
in my self-consciousness
which we share.
I like his sense of fun,
simplicity,
of which i may have none;
he’s part of me.
I may let him sneak out
without a doubt.
