The Mutant's to Come
What is mankind likely to be
in some upcoming century?
Will our ideals shape our future
or as slaves to a computer?
Perhaps we can all see ahead
by looking at our past instead.
Have we mutated or evolved
in getting our problems solved?
How much time did it take to be
only an advanced chimpanzee;
or were we once able to fly
like beautiful birds passing by?
Will we be able to compute
with feathers as a birthday suit?
