If You’re Late, You Have to Wait
A blind poet at heaven’s gate.
St. Peter said, “You have to wait.”
He was late arriving because
he got entangled in some laws.
Knowing in order to get in,
he needed to be without sin,
he kept on sinning anyway
in order to have a nice day.
But, perhaps on the other side,
just having fun would be denied,
This thought caused him to hesitate,
so he sinned again–being late.
Then he thought, “These damned stuffy rules
are no good for fun-loving fools.”
