How (in Hell) Did We Get Here?
Do dreams invalidate the truth
or, are they memories of our youth?
We are never old in our dreams
but in eternity it seems.
Eternity is not ahead
but the past and right now instead.
When Jesus said, “The kingdom is now”
he was trying to tell us how
heaven doesn’t come at the end
as a reward or dividend
and isn’t in a certain place.
It can always be ours by grace.
In our dreams, or while we are awake,
our heavens are not a mistake.
