Flying Lightly Across the Abyss
The other side of the black hole of death
is your destination–don’t hold your breath.
Therein expect a new enlightenment;
whether good or bad is not evident.
But, if you find a cosmic consciousness,
will absolute truth give us happiness?
Being reduced to just a tiny part
of a new universe may break your heart.
Will it be possible to remember
when our self-consciousness was the center
of the universe which we once lived in
and will such a vision seem like a sin?
Think long and hard whether you want to go
to a place you can’t take your own ego.
