I don’t think it should be like this
on the edge of a dark abyss.
Is this the event horizon;
the future cosmos relies on?
When the gods said “let there be light”
did they see what i see tonight?
They created the garden of Eden
for a logical good reason.
They didn’t want to be alone
where only the darkness was known.
But then, they left something out;
knowing what true love was about.
A serpent in an apple tree
told Eve and Eve persuaded me.
