A Prophet by Example
The pain will diminish each day
or i will learn to endure it;
so i will only have to pray
that god in his time will cure it.
Jonah was an unwelcome guest
which a big whale could not digest
and Jonah said, “This too will pass
but it is a pain in the ass.”
And, sure enough, it all worked out.
So, god’s purposes we can’t doubt.
But, it is hard not to complain
when you are afflicted with pain.
May i do what Jonah did
when he entered a whale and hid.
