Flora on Fauna
I had a cat named Calico,
a multi-colored cat–you know.
She was basically just white
and thus easy to see at night.
It wasn’t the cat who could see
at night, any better than me
and she had walked thru a rainbow
so she wasn’t as white as snow.
Calico cats are somewhat rare
but these cats do not seem to care.
Princes and princesses are all cats.
Children dress them in Easter hats.
Sometimes on their Easter bonnet
flowers will be growing on it.
