Eternity is not a myth
but reality we live with.
Perhaps the mortal body dies
but beginnings and ends are lies.
There is a cosmic consciousness
which is often hard to express.
ineffable as it may be
are dead poets talking to me?
Yes, we speak from eternity,
from a new effability.
The consciousness beyond all time
often comes to me in a rhyme.
A dead poet’s society
may seek its expression thru me.
