A Season to Sneeze at
Blown from the blossoms of the spring
pollen is on everything.
It is causing my nose to drip.
Is it allergy or the grippe?
A cold often lasts a fortnight;
shorter than an allergy might.
If you get them both together,
blame it on the change in weather.
Spring, the best season of them all
except summer, winter, and fall.
You can bid the winter adieu
but greet the springtime with ah-choo!
The summertime may seem too hot,
but look at what the spring has got.
