Red Necks and Blue Collars
What better seed stock can there be
than that growing in old Dixie?
There must be something in the air
which makes southern men debonair.
And as for pretty southern belles,
it’s also where the breeding tells.
The rest of the world feels assured
why democracy has endured.
There are Yankee qualities too,
as part of the red, white, and blue.
Now that we have rainbow colors
who live together as brothers,
With a brand new Black president
united is more evident.
