My Gods
Suppose there is a cosmic mind;
or intelligence of some kind
which has designed the universe
and caused galaxies to disperse?
Why is that harder to believe
than fables told to the naive?
People want to personalize
all the gods they visualize.
What kind of personality
does a big bang offer me?
All of the gods who i think of
are intangible things like love.
My gods live on a higher plane
where i expect them to remain.
