Love, Concept, or Idol Worship
and the greatest of these is love.
Is God a super intellect,
roaming freely thru the cosmos,
with powerful good intentions?
What else controls natural law?
Serendipity could not be
turned out so harmoniously
without an intelligent mind
from which everything is designed.
Is something so intangible,
free, and unmanageable,
possible for us to conceive?
The answer is yes, i believe,
if we mean we can understand
and not to create or command.
It is when we personalize
God, that his reality dies.
I see God on a higher plane,
neither sacred nor profane.
Anything but indifference
seems to demean His competence.
Giving rewards or punishments
doesn’t reveal this God’s intents.
He wants under no circumstance
worshipers, chants, or sycophants.
The God i am grateful to.
also has love for me and you.
