Free American Sonnet Form
The sonnet forms i like to use
can range from sunshine to the blues.
Although rhyming schemes may vary
They’re not always necessary.
Syllabic counts and the meter
may be whatever seems neater.
Counts may be seven to ten
only the meaning tells me when.
The messages may be extreme
from spiritual to just fun
but no matter how weird they seem
i cannot please everyone.
I try to help you face the day
feeling life is a game we play.
