Finding the Goal
Returning home to consciousness
from the world he had visited
he knew he was intangible
and his senses had been a farce.
Nothing physical now seemed real
and he mused, “Was it illusion?”
No wonder truth could not exist
beyond a beginning or end.
Is truth even significant
when our consciousness has restored
or should things like truth be ignored
while indifferent thoughts survive?
Perhaps he was about to learn
his purpose had been to return.
