The Second World War
And now that the war has been won
do we wonder what we have done?
We may have produced the big bang!
on which mankind’s fate will hang.
Will horror be a deterrent
or is our hatred inherent?
Are memes only things we have learned
and genes badges we have earned?
People are inherently good
if the cosmos is understood.
We can learn to work together
and make our genes even better.
However we were created,
the big bang! is overrated.
