A Reverence for Life

A human life or any life

is worth a lot more than contempt.

Movies and TVs feast on strife.

Nothing is sacred or exempt.

What is our entertainment for;

the glorification of gore?

Teenagers ask, “What is the big deal?

These movie killings are not real..”

They can even learn to enjoy

the deaths of someone’s girl or boy.

If we do not protest these memes

we can become callous it seems.

Have you learned to enjoy such things

as the deaths of human beings?
