Nirvana on a Gravestone
When a vivid dream collapsed
and shattered on the stones of memory
i somehow lost a sense of smell.
I couldn’t see very well;
I heard no background of noise,
and i had no bad taste in my mouth.
I felt i was losing touch
with all of my natural senses.
That’s when intuition commences.
I developed a new sense of knowing;
my cosmic consciousness, was growing,
an inner happiness was glowing.
Perhaps my old body had died
and eternity had arrived,
but common senses can’t be revived.
