A Happy Valentine Day
Even if Obama fails to do
what he is dedicated to
prejudices have been overcome
considering where we came from.
A society based on greed
has grasped the new hope which we need.
We have allowed love to creep in
and showed morality can win.
Our founding fathers could be proud
of what their legacy allowed.
But, like mythical Sisyfus
we still have problems facing us.
We believe the whole world has won
and may become a peaceful one.
