And The Winner Is . . .
Of all unforgivable sins
revenge may be the worst of all;
a feud which no one ever wins
with beginnings we can’t recall.
How can we judge our fellow men
like an anthropomorphic God?
Can we know the difference when
we all seem like peas in a pod?
To understand our enemy
may seem like a lot to ask.
But, rewards of such love may be
more liberating than a task.
I can love a demon, you see,
but can Hitler ever love me?
