Truth Versus Wisdom
What is the truth we want to find?
Is it a secret of some kind?
I think it is probably not
reality which time forgot.
This mysterious holy grail
is no more than a fairy tale.
Truth is not dead or long buried
but a hope which has miscarried.
We must make the truth which we seek;
and every new truth is unique.
Compounded of our hopes and fears
a strange epiphany appears.
