To Laugh Is to Live
In the Akashick Field to graze,
i discovered this fancy phrase:
“We must not paint bull’s eyes around
bullet holes.” What a pleasant sound.
It just tickled my funny bone;
but, how can i make it my own?
Does it really mean anything,
or, does it only seem to sing?
“Making targets out of some facts”
is how my simple mind reacts.
But, this is a quaint metaphor
i decided i could ignore.
So, Geoffrey Parker, “Thanks a lot,
whether it makes much sense or not.
