Poetry Is
where implications can be found.
The words are there to frame the sound.
Some silent spaces can say more
than elaborate metaphor.
Some poems may be better read
and some better spoken instead.
Some are easy to memorize
but sometimes the memory dies.
Do poems have to rhyme or not?
I don’t think it matters a lot.
Are they philosophy or fun?
I like a nonsensical one.
Some are naughty and some are chaste.
Some, like this one, should be erased.
