Now Is the Time
We shouldn’t ever forget
our bodies are only for let;
rented for a specific term,
then being eaten by a worm.
It is our spirits which we own;
the body is only on loan.
We should be serious about
only the things open to doubt.
Anything which is understood
is already settled for good.
The quest for truth is already won;
now we can begin to have some fun.
Taking ourselves too seriously
can put our spirits in jeopardy.
