Where A Gnome Is @ Home
I caught a comet by its tail
rode a moonbeam to no avail
but the stars are too far away,
erased by sunshine in the day.
These are illusions just like time;
it is easy to find a rhyme.
Our language is only a tool
and a rhymester may be a fool.
A poet, on the other hand,
is less easy to understand.
He is always asking questions,
immune to others’ suggestions.
Imagination is necessary
and an elf is like a fairy.
