An Unending Destiny
Not everyone may be aware
of immortal life when we get there;
a cosmic consciousness may be
like an illusive mystery.
Some of us already realize
the soul lives on when the body dies.
Those who think the body is
all of life are deceived by this.
Are gods and the devil one?
The demiurge and an aspiration of hope
are each integral parts of our universe;
but that does not mean they are the same.
We can distinguish good from evil
and awareness and consciences do.
